We’re Saving the Environment – One ASMO at a Time!
The Take Charge Program is challenging the University community to make a pledge to reduce and conserve during Conservation Week (April 21-25). The Marketing Office is committed to doing our part. Here’s what we’ll do during Conservation Week:

  1. Walk to Lunch – Walk to lunch 1-2 days.
  2. Eat Meatless – Eat a meatless lunch one day.
  3. Printers Off at Night – Turn off our printers and copier when we leave the office each evening.
  4. Power Strips Off at Night – Turn off our power strips when we leave the office each evening.
  5. Refillable Water Bottles – Use a refillable water bottle instead of purchasing bottled water.
  6. Carry Reusable Bags – Use canvas bags or reuse plastic bags to carry our lunches.
  7. Lights Out – Turn off office lights while away at meetings and lunch.
  8. Work from Home Day – Work from home one day (but not all on the same day!).
  9. Carpooling – Monica and Andy will carpool 1-2 times.

We challenge you to do your part too. Or, challenge us back. Keep us accountable. Log on to the My20 Challenge Web site and make your own personal or unit challenge.

Learn more about Earth Day, Conservation Week, the My20 Challenge, and the Take Charge Energy Awareness program at the Take Charge site.

What’s your 20?
