ASMO Project Manager Celebrates 25 Years
ASMO Project Manager Monica Kling was honored for her 25 years at Penn State. Coworkers, friends, and family gathered at the ASMO office on Friday, February 1 to celebrate the anniversary of her first day on the job. Java Catering provided a delicious selection of snacks, beverages, and cake. The Blue Band provided music (via CD) and Monica entertained the attendees with Penn State stories from the past 25 years.

Associate Vice President for Auxiliary & Business Services Gail Hurley presents Monica with a plaque in honor of the dedication, time, and hard work that she has given Penn State in the last 25 years.

The ASMO office was transformed into fiesta mode, an event that called for great food, Penn State music, and a blindfolded entrance from Monica.

Everyone enjoyed the delicious selection of snacks and cake provided by Java Catering. Many of Monica’s current and past Penn State coworkers braved the snowy weather to attend the party.

Due to the snowy weather, ASMO was able to recruit some extra assistance. Monica’s son Ethan spent the day helping put the party together.

From family memories to Penn State football games, ASMO Art Director Andy Heckathorne, with the help of Monica’s family, compiled this collage of photos commemorating Monica’s past 25 years.
